Itinerary

1. Maya Bay

Arrive at the world famous Maya Bay, featured in the movie “The Beach” starring Leonardo Dicaprio. The beautiful white sand beach surrounded by limestone cliffs makes it a must to experience this piece of heaven. The whole bay is one big reef and the underwater scene features colourful coral and exotic fish in exceptionally clear water.

2. Phi Phi Leh Lagoon

Next, you’re off to Phi Phi Leh Lagoon, otherwise known as “a private pool in the sea” or “Emerald Lagoon”. The crystal clear waters of Pileh Lagoon are perfect for swimming and snorkeling, and the lush green cliffs that surround it create a breathtaking backdrop. It is certainly one of the most stunning locations in Thailand.

3. Viking Cave

Locally called Tham Phaya Nak, Viking Cave owes its name to the paintings found on the eastern and southern walls of the cave – they represent various types of boats, including what resembles a Scandinavian Drakkar (Viking ship). These paintings were possibly made by sailors taking shelter in the cave during a storm.

4. Monkey Beach

One of the most interesting places to visit on the Phi Phi Islands is definitely Monkey Beach. Monkey Island in Phuket is a small cove located on a peninsula on Koh Phi Phi Don, the larger of the two main Phi Phi Islands. The fascinating Long-Tailed Macaques clamber down the rock face to come and greet the boats and tourists, hoping to get something to eat. You may even get the chance to take a monkey selfie! These guys rank pretty highly on the cute scale of wildlife.

5. Lunch on Phi Phi Don Island

Enjoy a scrumptious lunch at a hotel restaurant on Phi Phi Don Island (You can request for vegetarian food) and then spend some time chilling on the beach.

6. Khai Island

Koh Khai Island in Phuket is one of the many islands that Thailand has to offer. The biggest of these islands is Khai Nai Island. It has spectacular views and a white sandy beach which makes it perfect for snorkeling and swimming.
